It was 2013 when GTA 5 released,now it’s been 10 years
and GTA 6 release date keep getting delayed.Trusted sources suggest GTA 6 would be released in 2024-25. This is the
first time Rockstar Games take this long gap in releasing a sequel. Let’s get
into the detailed story.
Although Rockstar wants to keep GTA 6 game
development secret , On September 18 2022 there was a data breach on their servers and over
90 GTA 6 gameplay videos were leaked on the internet.
Videos showing 56 minutes 26 seconds test video of GTA 6 along with debug code were leaked and it was condered the biggest data breach in history. Later the hacker (a 17 year old ) has been arrested by UK police and he has been identified as the popular hacker group called Lapsus. These hacker group are notorious and have a long history of hacking Nvidia,Microsoft and Uber.
Based on the leaked gameplay video Grand Theft Auto 6 would feature a playable female protagonist character named Lucia and a male protagonist called Jason.
Exact release date of GTA 6
Although there are no official updates for the release date of GTA 6 , Chris Klippel (popular GTA leaker) who predicted the release date of GTA 5 said that GTA 6 will not be released before last months of 2024. Chris Klippel, is a French journalist and known for updated content on GTA series. He also own GTA Fan website.
Sources say that GTA 6 is keep getting delayed due to the recently leaked videos with source code. Rockstar and its team are very upset about this incident and also highly condemns this event.
GTA 6 will be playable on many platforms including PC ,PS 5 and Xbox X/S series. Only PC version will be delayed that happened before in the release of GTA 5 and will be released on later 2025. It is not yet confirmed but Rockstar Games is unlikely to release Grand Theft Auto 6 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Whatever may happen because recently they have tested the game with RTX 3080
graphics card and that shows both PC and console version may see same release
date.

According to Bloomberg , GTA 6 will have Vice City , which
is a fictional Miami. The vice city is the main setting for Grand
Theft Auto: Vice City Stories in 1984 and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in
1986. The
city is based on early 80’s Miami.
Bloomberg also claims that early stage of GTA 6 development
covered huge are of north and south America. They also confirm that the maps
are bigger than any other GTA games released before.
Tom Henderson comes with more detailed news on GTA 6. He claims GTA 6
will be set in a modern-day Vice city
and the maps are not bigger than previous GTA games. GTA 6 trailer will be
released in 2024 and GTA online see new maps every time they released a new
DLC.

Bloomberg says that GTA VI will feature two protagonists influenced by
Bonnie and Clyde ,a couple
known for their criminal exploits.The leaked gameplay clips also confirmed the couple (Jason and Lucia) robbing
and being chased by the police.
Like in GTA 5 you can select between the two protagonist. Also note that this
is the first GTA game with a female protagonist.
